Teriyaki Canned Tuna Patties

Ingredients for Canned Tuna Patties

- 2 (5 ounce) cans tuna, drained and flaked
- ¾ cup dry bread crumbs
- 3Â green onions, minced
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions

- Combine Ingredients:Â Mix together the tuna, bread crumbs, green onions, egg, and garlic.
- Season:Â Blend in the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, ketchup, sesame oil, and pepper until the mixture is well combined.
- Shape:Â Form the mixture into six patties, each about 1-inch thick.
- Coat:Â Lightly sprinkle all sides of each patty with cornmeal.
- Prep Pan:Â Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
- Cook:Â Fry the patties in batches until golden brown, approximately 5 minutes per side.
Substitutions

You can substitute crushed seasoned croutons for bread crumbs.
